Now look at the top bar on the google home page. which carries options like web Images Videos Maps News etc etc. Obviously it would be different for different countries. based on their needs.
so while India got books and orkut, USA got shopping, Togo got translation and agenda, Uzbekistan got directory services and groups, UAE getting nothing at all. :)
So you want to know the trends, you dont actually have to run google. you can get that just by starting the engine :)
